Can a convenient store robber file a charge of false imprisonment if a fellow customer wont let them leave.?

Im curious because say a dude robs the owner of the store then you have a customer who wants to be a hero and stop the robber in his tracks. The robber has a gun but wont use it and the customer gets in his way and keeps him there against his will. is that false imprisoment or not. im just curious. Can a convenient store robber file a charge of false imprisonment if a fellow customer wont let them leave.?
No. Stopping someone who is committing a crime is not false imprisonment. Can a convenient store robber file a charge of false imprisonment if a fellow customer wont let them leave.?
No, in that case it's considered a citizen's arrest.
I hope this is a joke question...the answer is obviously no.
I doubt it. but some sorry a** will certainly try to use it someday. The judge would laugh him out of court and on his way to jail.
